There are many great, quality sports cars and it was difficult to narrow this list down to just a few. However, I believe I have compiled a list that most race fans and car enthusiasts will agree upon.

The 1956 Ford Thunderbird. This car helps to define a generation. When one thinks of the 50’s one thinks of Elvis, poodle skirts, and the Ford Thunderbird (more commandingly known as the T Bird). The T Bird broke new ground in the U.S. as the first auto with a V8 engine that could reach speeds over 100 mph.

The owner or perspective owner of a vintage car must realize that it may take a while to find just what one is looking for in a classic model. It is definitely not a process that should be rushed. Some even go that extra step further and compete with their classic cars. For many of us, we just want to care for our Mustang, Mercedes or Jaguar the best way we can.
