Here is a well compiled list of the top ten classic British automobiles, in no certain order. This list has been assembled not only as a way of providing nostalgia to classic car enthusiasts, but also to provide information about classic cars to those who may not usually know that much about British automobiles.
One of the most stunning cars from Britain’s lush automobile history is the Aston Martin DB5, which was one of the most popular Bond cars, and is still well-revered today as a speedy, sleek, but efficient model. The next car on the list is the 1950 Bentley Mark VI, which is a professional powerhouse countered by a sophisticated look and a roomy interior. The third in our list is the 1959 Morgan 4/4, which is inspired by rival brands attempts at throwing a sporty design into the market, many of which cannot compare.
The next auto in our list is Jaguar’s 1954 model of the XK40. This is a sleek and low two-door coupe, with tons of horsepower, rivaled with just as much style and finesse. The fifth car in this collection is the Austin Healey AN5, with its odd style of headlights and its compact, yet affable form, this car truly stands out among other automobiles.
The sixth car in this series is the 1969 MG Roadster. This was a very efficient MG automobile, but still held it’s own in style and performance. The seventh classic car is the Triumph Spitfire GT6, which almost has a classic Porsche design, but has other qualities that makes the GT6 an individual in the market. The eighth car is the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, which offers the best in high-class luxury performance, along with elegant presentation and style. The ninth classic car is the Jaguar XKE, while the car rounding out the top ten is the Bentley R-Type.
